Latest LOVE LETTER From Mettie + Lunah. Mettie scares Lunah- she is putting in eyedrops that have no preservatives in them.

Yes, there is such a thing and it was terrible news recently.

There are eye moisturizing drops that have no preservatives. Some doctors have referred this product, called EzriCare, because they thought they were more effective.

Here is the report: "EzriCare eye drops don't have preservatives, and CDC scientists believe that's part of the reason the bacteria grew with abandon. Fifty-five consumers in 12 states including New York got infections so severe some were hospitalized. Some went blind, and one person died."

The same idea has crossed over to the 'clean beauty movement'. Product without preservatives is overall not a good idea. We sometimes think that 'clean beauty' is the same thing as safe beauty. The problem is, there is no 1 legal definition of 'clean beauty' that means anyone can say anything about it.

• Seek inspiration. Spend at least 10 minutes a day with anything that inspires your mindset.
• Share and learn with a trusted friend. Forget shame. Don’t be alone with your feelings.
• Watch the negative self-talk. Notice when it appears and curb it when it begins.
• Small goals. It doesn’t happen fast or all at once. The little victories definitely count.
• Recognize relationship toxicity. If its not supportive and positive, change out who and what you can.
• Don’t believe everyone else has a more perfect situation
• Stop the all or nothing thoughts. Most of what we do gets improved on anyways.

So, what is wellness anyways? Are we done trying to figure it out?

There is fresh noise in the world. I hear it. Seems we are tired of trying to be well. There are so many messages on how to do it.

So many ways to spend money on it. $14 Trillion- that is the size of the wellness industry. That is how much money we spend on it.

No wonder it feels sooooo overdone.

We are doing so much more to contain the mental and physical toll of daily challenges.

With real life togetherness reduced, attention is now on the device, not the other person. Has ghosting become our new SOCIAL SHIELD?

• Work? About 30% admit they ghosted an employer.
• Dating? For 18-35 year-olds, 70-80% say they have been involved in some type of ghosting.  
• Friends and Family? The numbers are up to 40%!

Many are getting called back to the office. Public bans and restrictions are mostly lifted. Does that mean we soon have to face those we ghosted?

Over the pandemic years, workers were asked to fill in and
