It works great for my Dachshund/Papillion that patches of long hairs coming out of everywhere & this brush makes her look and feel nice and soft. I don't see the gloss but I'm guessing they mean the softness.and it does work well. My dog didn't mind it either she loves any attention. Thanks Mettalusso!

Its small enough to fit in my hands without it having a handle. Detangles, smooths and makes my pups fur look sleek n glossy. And it doesnt pull on his fur n he enjoys being brushed now
